1st Tuesdays Live is a night of music and creative conversation hosted by B. Valentine. Each episode celebrates B. Valentine’s Circle of Love community while highlighting talented artists and creatives who live in or come through Austin.

For our full-circle Episode 12, B. Valentine welcomes back her very first guest—her husband, producer, and creative partner, Eric Valentine.

Eric is a drummer, bassist, composer, producer, and recording artist whose career has included performing and touring with artists such as Patti LaBelle and Steve Lukather. His song “Q’s Vibe,” recorded with Velvet Groove, reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Smooth Jazz Airplay chart.

We’ll talk about Eric’s musical journey, what it’s like to create together as a married couple, and the story behind his new single, “One Way or Another,” featuring Marcus Anderson, arriving August 28.

B. Valentine will also share updates on her songwriting and upcoming album, along with exciting news about Pressure Points, the short film she appears in and wrote music for.

Episode 12 will be the final episode before 1st Tuesdays Live takes a seasonal pause, making this a special evening to celebrate what we’ve created together and look ahead to what’s next.
